Yesterday the son of one of Gordon Hill’s fellow pilots wrote me about his father. I told him he could contribute. There were five French-Canadian Spitfire pilots with RCAF 416 Squadron. Gordon Hill said about them that they were damn good pilots!
Looking at my stats (I rarely do) I saw that this person had visited close to 40 pages on my 416 Squadron blog. He knows I mean business research wise…
Here in Quebec people don’t pay homage that much to those who fought during WWII so relatives don’t know that much about what their fathers uncles or grandfathers did. Sad… This is why I write all those stories.

He wrote his father died in 2017. I always ask people only once if they want to contribute.
